World Criterium Masters

The World Criterium Masters, Alpine skiing World Championship Masters category for over 30’s has been held annually since 1981. In addition to numerous alpine resorts, three resorts in Andorra in the Pyrenees and four resorts in the USA have had the honour of hosting the WCM. Last season in 2014 the event was held in Göstling – Hochkar, Austria, attracting nearly 500 competitors from 22 countries, for a number of which skiing is exotic.

Thanks to our successful experience organizing Masters category skiing competitions, last spring the FIS Congress 2014 in Barcelona, Spain, awarded the WCM 2016 to the Czech Ski Association for the competition to be held in Spindleruv Mlyn. It will be the first time the WCM will be held in Europe outside the Alps or Pyrenees. CS SKI, Ltd., a subsidiary organization of the Czech Ski Association, has been appointed to organize the event in cooperation with our company and Ski Club Spindl Production, which has organized the Women’s World Cup Ladies three times.

Naturally, the WCM includes a full social program for every evening of this prestigious international sporting event.
